PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epoxy paints are high quality paints made from epoxy resin, along with other components such as pigments, fillers, solvents, additives. This is a two part paint: Epoxy paint (component A) and solid binder (component B). When mixing these two components together, there will be a spatial network reaction that will cause the film to dry and harden. Epoxy paint after curing has very high mechanical properties, water resistance and many other chemicals. Epoxy coatings vary according to the method of manufacture, curing and purpose of use. USER MANUAL
1. Prepare
- Mix paint (component A) with 2A: 1B solids (component B) and stir well before painting (at least 5 minutes).
- Can be diluted with V-mark BuTo solvent mixture depending on the requirements
2. Construction
- Surface treatment
- Must remove dust, grease, rust.
- Rust: bleach with a specialized detergent
- Grease: Wash with organic solvent.
- Dirt: Clean by air blower or scrubber.
- Make flat surface to be painted
- The surface must be dry before painting
- Application method: Roller, brush or spray
* Note:
- Paint mixed with solids must be used up within the specified time (no more than 3 hours)
- Use in well ventilated areas, away from sources of ignition.
STORAGE
- Two component Epoxy should be stored in a cool, dry place
- The storage temperature is from 10 to 40oC, preferably from 15 - 30oC.
- The container must be sealed to avoid evaporation of the solvent to affect the paint quality
* Note: Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, use protective clothing, gloves, mask.
SAFETY MEASURES
- In the course of use, workers should be adequately equipped with protective clothing and equipment
- Do not swallow and mix with food and drink
